Etna Rosato DOC - Fuliara - Sicilia

Description:
Etna Rosé comes from old Nerello Mascalese vines planted as seedlings on the eastern slope of Mount Etna at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. It is cherry pink in color with floral and fruity aromas, fresh and persistent on the palate, making it an excellent aperitif.

Grapes:
98% Nerello Mascalese; 2% Nerello Cappuccio

Winemaking:
Gentle pressing, cold static decanting, and alcoholic fermentation in steel vats. The grapes remain on the skins for 12 hours.

Aging:
4 months in steel barrels and 5 months in wooden barrels (French oak barriques, 225-l oak barrels)
Pairings: Fish dishes and cream cheese.

Serve cold at 4-6 °C
